bathroom cleaner... just cleaner stuff in general... coz its always good to do a quick clean when you move in.
perhaps a casserole dish?
if either of you likes casserole?
also try to think of something to decorate your walls?
Especially if they are a bland colour
ooh and plants!
you always need plants!!
oh and a desk for your computer haha

measuring spoons, cake pans, cookie sheets, muffin tins, bath mat, bowls (cooking/salad mixing and normal sizes) may i suggest a toater oven enstead of a toaster. saves electricity for the oven.
rubber gloves, vegitable peeler, can opener
give me awhile, having lived on my own, these are actually things you ned, even the muffin tin, i had to borrow one from the crazy old lady two doors down
