Brianna wins 'em all

Is this the documentation of the adventures of the great and mysterious ( and often hilarious) Dr Smooth? Or just the incessant ramblings of the 19 year old drama queen Brianna Akins? only a true mastermind can decipher the truth!

It has come to my attention that Andy MacDowell has a giant rectangular head.

That said, I had a good weekend, despite not being able to breathe out of select orifices. Friday night was all blah and stuff because my mom wouldnt let me go over to Caitlins house. That made me sad because I havent hung out with Caitlin and Nicola in EVER. Well, except biology which doesnt count at all because I am sooo dull in biology. I dont even know why Caitlin sits beside me in that class, Im so boring.

Saturday morning my mom left at like, 6 i nthe morning to go to Vancouver and for some reason she felt the need to nudge me awake until i groaned recognition, and then she proceeded to have a 5 minute conversation with me in which I mumbled a lot and flipped onto my face. Satruday I did a whole lot of nothing, for a very long time. Laura was SUPPOSED to be home at 4, so she could call me and i could come over and be not home alone, but she didnt get home til 5:15, so I had to walk there in the dark. Ah well. I got there, and we were going to practice singing, but Alleah ( being Alleah) did not show up. sooo, we started without her. Unfortunately, Lauras mom had company over ( including a small child of sorts) so we didnt want to sing in the living room. Normally, we dont care, but sounding as disgusting as we did, we thought it better to sing elsewhere. We got through part of one song using the keyboard in Lauras room before we just gave up entirely and started watching Godsend while eating a GIANT POMEGRANATE! WE werent watching the movie at all, however, and were just chatting instead when the phone rang.

It was TIm, of course, because he cant be away from Lauras voice for more than 8 seconds without spontaneously combusting.
Aaanyways, Tim wanted us to go over to his place and hang out, because he is only half grounded, or some such nonsense. SO, sooner or later, i put on my touque ( oh yes, my touque) and headed out to the bus. We walked all the way to Country Club to catch the number 2, and had a pleasant bus ride and good conversations. We got there, and were 2 out of four invited, the others being Victor and Ge-off. Also his little sister ( who is cool) hung out with us but somehow I doubt she was formally invited. We had a great time, but I couldnt help wishing that someone else was there...
uuuh, yeah, moving on, we had a good time, doing nothing in particular, just hanging out and laughing and such. ooh, Highlight of my day, Laura getting a sex talk from Tims mom. Me and Tim attempted to eavesdrop, but TIm is half deaf and i fidget so it was hard to hear. We went home around 11:30, and when we got backto Lauras house both Mel and Alleah were there, so we had a girly gossip session, in which I was "liked" by both Mel and Alleah because I was sick and somehow more fun. I dont get them either. However, they took advantage of my weakened sickly state and beat me. How unfun. I swear I will have a bruise where Melody bit me on the arm. I tried to wriggle away, but couldnt manage, partly for laughing so hard. Around 1 or 2, we all just kind of collapsed in a pile on the futon with my snorting all the time. Laura left for her bed, but me and the other two just slept where we were, no pyjamas or anything.

We got up around 9 or 10, and lazed about and ate some brunchness. Sooner or later we all got ready and went to go to the mall, without Alleah though, because she realized she had panto. We went to that giant dollar store beside Canadian Tire, and then went for coffee at Starbucks. I had raspberry hot chocolate, but was really sad when I discovered I couldnt taste much. Mel bought me a present at Chapters for my birthday that I picked out and I was happy. Then Mel had to go home, so we walked her over to where her dad was picking her up. Then me and Laura went to Walmart to drop off her 8 zillion rolls of film ( laura is such a gimp she didnt know how to get film developed, and I laughed) and also bought fun underwear. Then we went to Winners where I bought a sweater. After that we wandered around the mall for a while, and decided maybe we should go look for Tim at workto see if he could take a break and hang out with us. Unfortunately, we are stupid asses and couldnt find the store. laura was all for finding a directory, but I was like, no way, those are for tourists. So I stood and looked uncomfortable while Laura went to find Marks Work Warehouse on the map. Then, who should show up and poke me in the side but Timothy himself! turns out we were like, 30 feet away from the store and were totally blind. He saw us walk by and went out for his break. We went for lunch at NEw York Fries and talked for a while, but then Tim had to go back to work, so he left and we picked up our film and looked for 10 minutes to find a couch to sit on. We finally found one, and looked at awesome pictures of The Princess party, the Pirate party, and the miraculous birth of the collective (haha). Theeeen, we caught the bus home. My house was boring and I had to do chores, and * cough* study for my History midterm. I am a slacker and Laura will eat my eyes, but whatever. So thats it, my weekend in a nutshell. Alleah will be proud of my blogging stamina.

Ick, midterms, don't remind me! I have to study for my Psychology midterm, and even though it's slightly interesting stuff I hate it, hate it, HATE IT! So, there you go, my personal little rant about further procrastination of important college work.

Have fun with your own midterm.

insanity abounds it seems... hope you get more well soon, I always just find that drinking A LOT of water helps for singing (not to lecture you in an area which I am inferior) but I'll maybe have 2 Litres or so on a Saturday morning choir practise to keep on trucking.

    nyargh
