Brianna wins 'em all

Is this the documentation of the adventures of the great and mysterious ( and often hilarious) Dr Smooth? Or just the incessant ramblings of the 19 year old drama queen Brianna Akins? only a true mastermind can decipher the truth!

Blogging for Tim, because he is bored

Tim, you are such the blog slavedriver. You will be sadly disappointed if you were expecting something wild and wonderful out of this post.

Wednesday night was the first day of my nice long weekend, and I did absolutely nothing to the best of my recollection. Yeah, i'm just that cool. GOod thing I got a couple books out of the school library beforehand or else I'd have been mighty bored. So, Thursday in the day I went to Chapters with my mom ( I had to bribe her with Starbucks :P) to look around, and there were in fact some books I wanted, but they were all in hardcover, and I wasnt too willing to spend all my money the first day. Although now that ive thought about it, Im going to go back and buy one. Then I went to Michaels, which made me SO HAPPY because the prospect of art/buying things is always pleasing. I bought some mroe origami paper because I was out, and then a new SKETCHBOOK and some real ARTISTS PENCILS and I nearly died! Ive never had real sketching pencils before.... *orgasm*'

anyways, Then I went to rent some movies because Laura and Mel were supposed to come over. Originally they were supposed to come in the late afternoon and stay til evening, but then they were like, oh wait, we cant, which made me kind of mad. Laura said she would come at 7, but didnt end up showing up until 9, which also made me mad. Oh well. After Panto, Mel came and brought Sarah, which was nice. We watched Grease 2 ( which was terrible and Stellar) and sang and danced and mocked to our hearts content, while eating mandarins. Around 12 we went up to my room and talked for a bit before going to bed, but I couldnt get to sleep until 2:30 because of Sarahs incessant snoring! I wonder if she was dreaming of musketeers...

oh, I also did a portrait of a refugee in a national Geographic magazine, which looked better when I was drawing it, and then ended up kind of sucky.

Friday morning we went to MuTh rehearsal, where I actually had a good time because I could finally sing properly again ( JOY!) and we actually sounded pretty good as a group!! Plus, the quartet wasnt half bad either!! I was going to go out for lunch with some people in between our groups being needed, but it turned out we didnt have time, so me and Mel walked to Subway after. I discovered all of their prices went up, grrr. Then, we took the bus home.

Friday night was Spencers get together, which actually turned out to be quite a lot of fun. There were a lot of little ones off to the side, but we just ignored them. I dont think there was anything particularily notable about the get together, it was just a general good time.

I also drew a portrait of the PRETTIEST BOY IN THE WORLD which I found in a magazine. Sadly, his portrait is less pretty.

Today is Saturday, and I went out to Value Village with Laura and her mom to get our costumes for Bye Bye birdie, which started out fun, but then Laura felt the need to try on every item in the store ( this may be because of her mothers prompting). But, for some reason, that store wasnt good enough and we had to go to another. It was kind of boring, but at least i got my costume. I got home around five and then did a lot of nothing until now.

org, I just remembered I am supposed to be doing homework because I have a huge assignment due/test on Monday in Biology. Oh darn.

Thank you so much Brianna. That entertained me for some time.

I must say the concept of you and Laura Value Village shopping entertains me greatly and makes me smile. I went VV shopping with the gal once before, and I know how you are in general and the combination is very funny in my mind.

    Oh my God! *origamism*

I love folding paper into animals. Although, normally, I stick to cranes.

Sigh... Brianna, you are kick ass. Your blog posting is fun and good to read. But I need to go to work tomorrow. so...

    tatty bye!

you butthead! you gave me your sickness!!! My head feels as if it is FILLED with cotton, my nose is entirely stuffed with malicious green goo, my sinuses HURT, oh how they hurt, plus I am tired all the time! And since you gave it to me, I shall be sure that you bear the full brunt of my misery! And if you're lucky, Sean will agree to bear some of the burden for you. In other news, my STUPID MOM typically is super poor and crapdammit, which means that no matter how much I beg and plead, no matter how motivated I am to get off my ass and go poodle-skirt shopping, it won't happen, because THERE IS NO MONEY! THERE IS NO MONEY!!!!! (that was a wail, could you tell?) Anyways, I am going to slink off with my financial tail between my legs, and nurse my misery over a big ole cup of java. Pity me if you dare.
