okay, update update update!!
Im not going to detail my whole Vancouver trip,because it would take about 8 zillion years.
Suffice to say, Franz Ferdinand was super stellar, and also, i met a boy. We had a very awesome couple of days. Hes so much like me, its freaky. And everything was very cute, and very fantastic.. until he had to go back home to Winnipeg.
He left on the friday, i came home on the Saturday. I'd like to say everything was back to normal, and while it was a fun couple of days, it was all in the past. But it so so wasnt. I spent the entire day moping about. and yes, I know youre probably thinking how unlike me that is. And its TRUE. I am so not the pining sort of girl! And I seriously never thought that would happen.
So I got in Saturday evening, and I just wanted to sit at home and feel sorry for myself, but that got old quick, so I put on a dress, and made myself look all pretty to go to Barbaras pseudo prom party! Turns out Barbara is not the sharpest at on the fly get togethers. Almost no one came dressed up, so I kiiind of looked like a freak. But thats okay. we had fun anyways! first they forced me to play Clue however... and I bet you didnt know someone could ACTUALLY be horrendous at Clue! but that would be me. I left pretty early, cause I didnt feel like socializing anymore, and went to bed.
Sunday my mom woke me up to get ready, and drive to Victoria. This is usually super fun, because me and my moms only bonding time is driving in a car singing atr the top of our lungs and dancing at strangers. However, driving = thinking time. NOT what I needed. oh well, Spent the day in Victoria with my mom and sis, walked the dog, went out for Thai, and then my mom decided it would be super fun to streak my hair blonde. I went along with it, for something to do.. I dont like it very much. But, everyone else seems to, so okay.
Monday I went to the dentist... uh.. that was lame. And then I went to see Ice Age 2 with Aden.
Tuesday I had Geoff and Alleah over to wtahc movies, and around 9:30 we went for a coke run, but ran into JC in the parking lot and ended up going to his house to watch movies instead. We ended up staying til like, 3 in the morning.
Wednesday I went to hang out with the libratorbs at Megans place, and got to gossip for a little bit with them..
Thursday I went to Alleahs house to be a sappy girl and watch romantic comedies. We wtached Love Actually, best romantic comedy EVER MADE!! However, I fell asleep at like 1 in the morning, and left Alleah up watching alllll the other movies I had brought ( like, four). Then at five o clock in the morning I was VERY rudely awakened by a freakishly energetic and enthusiastic Alleah jumping on me!! I shouted some vague obscenities and turned over, but she didnt stop until I punched her. This kept her at bay for all of about 15 minutes, then she came back and tried again. This time I waited until she was real close, then roundhouse kicked her in the face. HaHA! that worked until about 7, when I decided there was no point anymore and just got up. We lazed about for a while, drinking coffee until 10, when I had to go to Malaspina for my theatre interview!!!
Despite the fact that I was slightly nervous, it all went by fabulously! im pretty sure they think im the greatest thing since sliced bread :P and they gave me the unofficial, youre in! so now I just have to sit and wait for my letter to come! Isnt this COOL? Brianna is finally going off to college! :D
After my interview Jen, Dave, and Ryan came and picked up me and Alleah, and we went to Mrs Riches for lunch, and then to Maffeo Sutton for some hanging out time. Somehow us girls all ended up piled on Dave which was really funny til we hurt his back :S and then Jen fell on my face, so we stopped all then rough housing. But i learned how to whistle through grass!! Dont laugh, ive seriously been trying to do that for years. And then me and Alleah stage fenced some more, good times. After all that I went home for a little while until Jen picked me up around 9;30 and we went to Ryans house to play pool and pictionary!! ive never actually played before, but we had a suprisingly hilarious time.
Saturday... I did something fairly stupid. I dont feel like typing it all out, so if you want to you can ask.
Sunday after I got home from Daves house I hung around home for a bit until Geoff came and picked me up, then we got Alleah, and kidnapped Barbara. We went to Pipers Lagoon and walked around there for a while, climbing trees and whatnot. Then we got bored, and went back to geoffs house where we scarred Monkey for life, played video games, and watched Snatch.
monday I FINALLY went jobhunting.... after hanging out at Lauras for a few hours. Then went and got ice cream with my mom, because I am the coolest person on Earth.
