All Hallows Eve

hmm, I better be on my guard today. I dont why, but bad things always seem to happen to me on Halloween. Seriously, like, my parents decided to get a divorce on halloween, and my dog bit my sisters face on halloween so we had to get him put to sleep, and numerous other things I would rather not go into. So I best be careful.

In other news, life is excellent. Friday night was the bash at Gators place, which in my opinion, was the best party since Spring Break. 40-odd people went and we danced and laughed and had a great time. Nick and Jordan dressed up as goths, which was pretty funny to see. Before the party I spent some time on Lauras deadness make-up for her dead prom queen costume. It ended up looking really great. Well, SHE didnt look great, seeing as she was dead and all, but the makeup was good. A bunch of the German exchange students came too, and they seemed to be having a wonderful time. The whole night was just simply stellar! Some of the couples * cough Alleah and Sean* :P went into Lauras room, never to be seen again, but I didnt really mind.

You should have seen the crazed dancing. I cant help myself when a swing song comes on! I grab the nearest person and start busting a move. Because I am just, that, cool. My mAgenta costume was totally hot and I got a million and a half complimetns on it. I think I might dye my hair red now, cause it looked so good.

I did a whole lotta nothing on Saturday morning/afternoon, because my mom was in Victoria, and i had nowhere to go. I ended up watching Zoolander on tv, and doing more nothing. I dressed up in my pretty brown and pink dress, put on a fifties pink jacket, did my hair, grabbed my poodle purse, and went to Tims friend Stevens party. I had such an awesome night there too! I was expecting these drab, dull, debating people, but they were so cool! jeex TIm! you made it sound like I was going to funeral party, not a halloween party! But it was great. we played LCD, which was quite amusing, seeing as I had never played it with non-theatre kids, and i have also never played it in front of STRANGERS! But I really did seem to fit right in! I knew a few people, namely Laura and Tim, but also David and Leah. Steven seemed totally uber nice, and he was really funny. When we were playing LCD, he was bellydancing behind the guy guessing, it was great! Me and David had some good conversations too, actually. Anyways, now I love their crowd and feel the need to invite them everywhere.
Unfortunately, I had to leave at 11, because i had to catch a ride with Laura's mom. I was sad to leave, and they seemed sad to see me go.

So today I did more nothing. And at 6 im going over to Lauras house to carve pumpkins and then go trick or treating with some people. I'm so juvenile!

Way hey hey, its just an ordinary day.

Yeah, I spent most of the day thinking it was Friday, then being sad when I realized it was not. How terrible for me.

So, sorry abotu crazy ranting post last night, I was all pissy and crap. But thats done now, so whatever. I'm so uber excited about tomorrow!!! My costume is cest magnifique! I look like kind of a skank, but somehow I dont think anyone will mind. For those who are uninformed, Í'm being Magenta from Rocky Horror. I'll get some pictures of it and maybe get Spencer to scan them so I can post them on my blog.

So yeah, today was majorly uneventful. I went to choir, and blasted the socks off the alto section. Sasja got all mad and in my face when I told her she was holding a note way too long. But she was. Not my fault. Plus she was flat like, the whole time! Burn on her.

Alleah actually CAME to school for once, which is good. But Laura didnt. I called her up to say some stuff and it turns out shes icky sick. She better not infect me at the p-tay tomorrow night!!

anyways, thats about all.

Everyone else has the problems

What IS it with people complaining about their problems lately?? Its like everyone just decided it was everyone elses duty to hear every miniscule bad detail of their life. Newsflash kids, EVERYONE HAS PROBLEMS! The majority of those that I talk to are in grade 12, so yeah, youre stressed, but so is everyone else! Like, okay, Mel, you do everything under the sun, which is cool, and I can understand that you have some whacked emotional things. But the others, man oh man, calm the freak down. Also, ny all means, do not take it out on me, because I certainly dont need the flak. Sometimes I wonder why I hang out with the theatre kids, seeing as melodrama follows wherever they go.

I like Laura and Tim. They seem like real people, which is awesome right about now. I am actually really in the mood for Svens party, where I can be normal, and not feel like I'm letting people down by not being crazy.

Bow Down Daisy Duke

My god, Daisy Duke is the best song in the world. Everyone should rush out and listen to it immediately. Seriously.

Anyways, just got back from the movies with Mel and our moms. How cool are WE? we saw Shall We Dance, which is one of those nice movies that make you want to go out and smile at babies and such. Not that there were any babies in the movie.. but you know what I mean.

So I had an okay weekend. Friday all day I had to be at home to clean my room and the bathrooms and stuff, so when Mel called to see if I could do something I was like, not til 6. Well, she had rehearsal at 6, and sounded so devastated that I felt really bad. Shes been in a pretty bad way lately, and I felt the need to remedy that. Then I remembered I'm not God, or Superman, or a wizard. So I made cookies. Brianna's method of solving any problem. Sugar cookies.

"I want to blow up your country. Give me riches and loose women."
"oh, come now, cant we settle this over some nice sugar cookies?? mmmm!"

but thats not all! Oh no, thats NOT all. I also got a card. Yeah, it was like a happy love card. And I wrote happy love things inside. How disgusting am I?

And then I dropped them off at her house with her mother. Then I went home and read until it was 11:30, when I was going to leave for the Starlight movie thing.

for the record, i am smart and brought a sweater and minigloves.

Anyways, I met up with Laura and Tim, and Marcus and Leah ( who is very nice) and then was introduced to their friend Kyle.

ACTUAL INTRODUCTION:

Tim: Hey Kyle, this is Brianna. Shes theatre, youre quiet.

*shake hands*

yeah. Anyways, a little while after Laura was like, so you brought your student card right? Cause you cant get in without it. Thanks Gator, youre a real pal. So I had to go up to some friendly cops and act pathetic so they would lend me their cell phone, which they did.
The actual movie thing was fairly fun, with umpteen pints o'coke and some cool movies which I havent seen before, like Paycheck and Envy. ( btw, Paycheck is TERRIBLE but AWESOME)
So, everything was fine and good until Laura and Tim started making out h-core in the seats beside me. I was like, eww, get away and hit them several times before they complyed with my request. Not for long though. Brains like CAMELS they have!

Anyways, at 5:30 in the morning when we were halfway through Starsky and Hutch, the fire alarm rang off, and we were like, youre kidding me. But no, they were not. Some idio-child set off a firecracker inside and we all had to get out, but for some inexplicable reason, not GO HOME.
When I finally did get home I slept til 2.

and then Mel called me to thank me for the cookies, so I went over there and we had tea. That night I procrastinated like a mad fool and watched scary things ( im dumb) instead while my mom was out on a daaate. Which turned otu to be crappy. Then, aorund 12, Mel came over and we watched Homestar for a while and were boring. Oh, I also watched Down With Love on Saturday because that is my philosophy.
My mom came home from her date at 2 and was mighty confused to find two lumps in my bed instead of just one. WE laughed about that in the morning. And we went out for breakfast, which was less than excellent, unfortunately. Then I came home and did my History project for 4 and a half solid hours. But at least its finished. Then I had supper, and went to see the aforementioned movie.

All in all a fairly good time

• Huddling onto Tim and Laura outside in the cold singing "Two Ladies"

To recap

Things about Thursday that made me happy:

1) I got to sleep an extra 20 minutes
2) There was a pmegranate waiting for me when I got home
3) It was the last day before a weekend
4) I discovered the awesome band Rooney, and made a CD which I listened to all night.
5) I handed in my giant history project on time
6) History class was an excellent amount of fun!
7) I finished my painting!!!
8) i finished reading a nice little book, and will start on another good one today ( i rarely have time to read anymore)
9) I had choir after school! And I sight read this big part and got it right.
10) I remembered to eat breakfast, so I wasnt hungry all day
11) I rented the Day After Tomorrow which I liked, even if everyone else says it sucks.

what a great day! Perhaps I should go back and talk about the rest of the week. Monday I dont remember at all, except in MuTh the quartet got to working, which was cool, because we did a lot, and everyone thinks me and Mel sound so great together!
Tuesday was...school. Mostly uneventful. Except I had choir, which is fuuun, even with all the annoying grade 8's parading about not singing! oh well, then I went to see Ladder 49 with my mom, and I cried like a FOOL! seriously, it was just that sad. Lucky for me, every single other girl in the theatre was in the same boat, so I didnt feel so lame. WEdnesday was dull, except for musical theatre, because me and Tim skipped out on a lot of the singing and went for a walk around the school. Usually I wouldnt condone skipping some of practice, but he was in a pretty bad way, so I comforted him Brianna-style. I think he felt better, so mission accomplished.
and then he became the NICEST PERSON EVER by lending me the money to go to the all nighter on Friday. Yes, ATTENTION TIM: you are my hero.

So now today is friday, and Im stuck at home until I clean my goddamn room. oh, and the bathroom. Shucks. Then Mel is going to call and we might do something until i leave for the movie thing. Fun fun!

This week has been fairly uneventful, besides a kick ass Friday night. Let me go back. Just dont expect me to remember anythign from school. at all. So Tuesday I was supposed to go back after the long weekend, but I was like screw it. Monday was fabulous. I went to lauras place for thanksgiving dinner, and it was most excellent. Dinner was delicious, and then me and the group ( consisting of me, my mom, laura, lauras mom, lauras grandma, Tim, Alleah, Alleahs mom, Sean, and Mel) played a whole bunch of magnificent board games until late. It was simply great because we all just had a fun, laughing good time. So yeah, Tuesday I was all screw school, and my mom didnt make me go. I was shocked, but pleasantly so. I had a relaxomatic day playing video games and drawing. Most excellent. Then I went to the movies with my mom at night, We went to see Taxi, which was suprisingly hilarious. Gareth got really pissed at me the next day at school for not showing up, and I was abotu ready to pound his face into the dirt for calling me a hypocrite. There are two things I cant stand, people calling me selfish, and people calling me a hypocrite. Dont ask me why, they just make me want to beat on people. So me and Gareth kinda squared it, but it didnt stop him from bugging me all week. I think we spend way too much time together, but oh well.
Aside from that who knows what happened wednesday. Thursday was mostly bland, and I missed choir to go to the tech rehearsal for VARIETY NIGHT!!

and on Friday, we had VARIETY NIGHT!! But that was after I nearly DIED in the mornign from cramps that made me curl into a ball and hyperventilate. And I'm not even joking, it was the worst pain ever. But at least I didnt cry. no.. never cry...

anyways, variety night kicked so much ass!! it was maxtremely radcore!! ALl the acts were extremo-FABULOUS and they cheered us pineapple princesses. I saw some people I know in the audience, like Katie and Aden, which was neat. And when orange edition played ( most wonderuflly I might add) we all jumped on stage and hung out.

After the last act, a bunch of us ( way too many to mention, just think the grasde 12 Dover crowd) went over to Tidey's place where I was the only Welli besides Jen, but we still had great amounts of fun.

Saturday night I went over to Barbaras for the supposed "girls night" which turned into "every girl who has a boyfriend bring him and stay attatched to him all freaking night long." I guess I didnt have the greatest time. Oh well. It was nice to see barbara, Llowyn and Sarah W again. I ended up going to bed (with mel, haha) around 12:30, which was pretty early for me, and I snagged the BED!

Sunday was boring, because I mostly did homework, but then i started on this AMAZING PAINTING WHICH I WILL LOVE FOREVER
one day I will unveil it to the public.

Oh oh! I have a part in BYe bye birdie!!!!! Im in the adult quartet! isnt that AWESOME??? I was soooo happy.... I even have a line, but thats actually unrelated

Ack, what a nightmare

I had a horrrrrrible dream last night about the prom! Everything that could possible go wrong did.

Okay, so it was the night of the prom, and i was about to get ready to go, when I realized that I hadnt bought a dress. So I was like, oh crap, and i just put on that pink and brown dress I bought the other day. After I had gotten dressed, I also realized that i had not gotten neither my hair nor makeup done that day, so I just looked completely normal. I was thinking about not going at all because I was obviously not equipped to go, when the doorbell rang. I was like, oh, that must be my date. But i couldnt for the life of me remember who my date was supposed to be! So I opened the door, and it was BRAD of all people. Weird, I know. So then I was like, well, I guess I'll go to make Brad happy. So we went to the prom, and I realized i had left my ticket at home! So I called my mom and made her drive me home to find it, but it wasnt there either! Turns out it had been in my wallet the whole time!
Anyways, thats all I remember, but the whole thing was a disaster and it made me very sad.


So today I was supposed to practice Pineapple Princess with Mel and Geoff but Geoff is completely MIA, and Mels got her answering machine on in her cell phone., so I dont kn ow if thats going to happen. And then i really have nothing to do except a bit of homework until 6 when I go over to Lauras house. I shouldnt go early though, because Tim will be there, and they prooobably wont want me around.

Another Pleasant Valley Sunday

My family is horrible. Like, theyre not serial killers, or dendrophiliacs or heroine addicts, but they are sincerely awful people. Today was my family's thanksgiving dinner, and because everyone is so difficult, we decided to go out for dinner. So we pick up Caitee from her last shift at Superstore and try and decide where to go. For some reason, my mom was being INSANELY pissy and started yelling at everyone. Like, I said Mrs Riches would have veggie burgers for Caitee to eat, and she was like, CAITE DOESNT EAT VEGGIE BURGERS!!! SO we ended up going to Fast Eddies, and my mom was a ragecase, caitee had a huge attitude, and Tiffany was annoying. God. And that was my family thanksgiving. I'm supposed to be at home now playing board games with all of them ( NOT a fun endeavour, let me tell you) but I'm at my neighbours house again. I was catsitting here last night and this afternoon, so I came back at 8 to give them my key ( I wasnt here when they said they would be home) But they werent here, so i cam in to feed the cats again. It was a very nice excuse to not be at home.

So how was my weekend... Friday night I went to see that play, Streetcar Named Desire at the Chemainus Theatre, which was fun. It was really good, and the woman who played Blanche was excellent, but the play was 2 hours and 45 minutes long, so by the end I was like, I want to go home. So we went to drop off Laura and her mom, and I was going to sleep over there, and Mel and Rosie were waiting outside for us. SO we had a nice sleepover, and I drew some insane cartoons which you can see here.

Saturday morning, after Laura had her RIDICULOUSLY long shower, we went out for lunch, and then Lautra and Alleah came to my house to practice our songs for the Haiti fundrasier next Sunday. Soon though, I tired of their company and sent them away. Then I came here, to the cat house. Mel came over late at night and we watched Star Wars, which was fun.

Ooh, interesting thing that happened this morning; We woke up at 11, and went downstairs and there were feathers littering the entire living room. So we were like, oh crap, what did they destroy? And then Mel found this dead bird on the floor, so we had to pick it up and vaccuum the mass of feathers on the floor. That was rather exciting. And then we did a whole bunch of brainteasers from this book, which was suprisingly fun.

So I guess I better get back home (joy) and hole myself up in the attic or something.

Its Been A While

So yeah, I was semi grounded off the computer for a few days there, so I didnt get to write any posts. What is semi grounded you ask? Well, I was confused too. I was technically not allowed on the computer for a week, but then after the first two days I could like, go on but only for a few minutes at a time... Its weird. But I think its all back to normal now. So, backtracking all the way to Friday.


I dont remember anything that happened at school at all, because school is not important in the slightest. the four of us welly kids got on the bus after school which was CHOCK FULL OF PEOPLE!! Like seriously, no one else could possibly sit on the bus. Aden was there, so we convinced him to ocme with us to MuTh. Musical theatre was actually pretty boring, because they were blocking some scene with teens in it, so the "adults" werenet needed. We ended up running Ed Sullivan and I stunned everyone with my amazing note-finding ability. Not really.
Mel invited me to her house that night so around 9 I went over there with Geoff and gareth, and we hung out doing lots of nothing, which was pretty fun. I left a little after 11:30, because I had to get up and do chores in the morning.

Saturday I got up and did chores in the morning. yes. Then, around 1 i went with Mel to the mall, and we discovered at the bus stop that we are eerily similar sometimes. Shopping was TONS of fun. I bought the COOLEST DRESS IN THE WORLD!!! It was at Winners, for only 18 dollars!! I was so very ver yhappy! Its pink and brown striped, and very 50's looking, and when you twirl the skirt whips around and its so awesome... Oh I love it so.. I also got a shirt that says Queen of Everything, which is so totally true. Then we went to Rutherford and J-ro let us into A Shark Tale for free, which was super excellent

and then we hung around the bus stop until my bus came and she had to go to work. I got home around 6:15, and only had a half an hour to get dressed before Tim came to pick me up for girl Spencers gathering thing. I wore the happy wonderful dress!!! So that night was pretty fun, I had a good time.

Highlight: Tim dancing to Kung Fu Fighting.. and then pole dancing... well, basically Tim dancing.

I went home about 12, and went to bed. Sunday was pretty boring. I did some homework, and then me and my mom went to Chapters and out for coffee. We bought a My Little Pony coloring book, and i was happy.

Monday.. Monday... Was probably too dull for me to recall anything. MuTh was cool, but Melody was kind of in a bad mood, which made me sad. Oh well, shes allowed. She came home with me after school on Monday to do our homework, and then learn the song Pineapple Princess, because were doing it at Dovers Variety night!! Isnt that EXCITING?? We had to learn the harmonies and words and stuff. Then we just hung out for a while. Today was boring, yadda yadda, dont need any info about that.
