Brianna wins 'em all

Is this the documentation of the adventures of the great and mysterious ( and often hilarious) Dr Smooth? Or just the incessant ramblings of the 19 year old drama queen Brianna Akins? only a true mastermind can decipher the truth!

Unnatural Disappointment

There was a party at Lauras last night. Ihad a really good time at the beginning. I was dressed in some of my new school clothes, which were really cool, and I looked fairly good too, especially with my new haircut. Pretty much all the people i wanted there showed up, and we just listened to music and hung out. I basically just flitted from conversation to conversation, not actually saying anything at all. I dont think anyone even noticed that I wasnt being as talkative as usual. Oh well, doesnt reallty matter. Anyway, it was normal Laura party, complete with Spin the bottle, which I wasnt really in the mood for. Despite that, I was, for some reason, disappointed in something. I dont get it myself. school is starting again soon, andI wanted this party to be this big fun sendoff thing to celebrate the end of the BEST SUMMER EVER. But no. However, there are two more partied this weekend, at Brad's and then Gareths, so that will be fun.

Wake Up Call

Laura said an interesting thing to me yesterday. We were talking about Alleah not hanging out with us much, and I wondered aloud if she would ever desert us. And Laura said, well, I would think that of you, but not Alleah. Or something along those lines. And I realized, Laura and Alleah both think im going to ditch them any moment! I guess maybe I act that way sometimes, but I would never ever ever think of doing that! Sure, I USED to forget about people i was bored of, but I wouldnt do that with my friends NOW! So, either I am getting really mushy ( if this is the case, shoot me) or else all of my cold medicine is getting to my brain. Either way, ive decided to devote a post to all the people I love most in the world.. my closest friends.

By the way, if you are not mentioned, its not because I hate you, I just got tired.

Lauragator Buzzard: Well. What can I say about Laura. She is my ultimate best friend, and has been since I moved here three years ago, even when I wasnt hers :P. Laura is one of the most amazing people on the planet. She can sing like a dream, write better than half the authors ive read, play the piano, get 100 freaking percent in every class, and make me pee my pants laughing. All the while claiming she has no "real"talents. Silly girl. Anyways, I know Laura will never forget about me, and I'm gonna do the same.

Alleah "Pinto" Poirier: Alleah, my other best friend. Alleah is one crazy little munchkin, first of all. However, through all the fights, spats, and "heated debates" I'd have to say she is still one of my favorites. We can spend endless amounts of time together and still find things to talk about, even if it IS only the guys we currently like. She has an amazing aptitude for anything business related, and will one day be the principal of a school for the performing arts, mark my words. So, in closing.. ALLEAH IS A NAZI!! mwahaha.

Geoffrey "Jesus" Moddle: Ah, Geoffrey, my little puppy. Singing with you has been so great, because I think you are stellar! And what I like most about you, is how we can just hang out and do stuff without any of that girly expectation stuff. Thats what I love about guys, so laid back. So Geoff, whatever you choose to be, im absolutely sure you can excel at it, as long as you dont lose focus! And remember.. DYNASTY WARRIORS BUDDIES FOREVER!!!!!!!!!

Michael "Monkey"Moddle: My other little moddle puppy! Monkey, Ive always admired your ability to be nice to everyone, no matter how excruciatingly annoying they get! No seriously, it takes a lot to refrain from telling them to SHUT UP. So yes, youre sweet nature is probably my favorite of your qualities, not to mention how much of a KICK ASS BASS YOU ARE!! So, from telling me of all your girlfriend woes :P, to letting me hide in your shoulder at scary parts in movies, to chatting about WoT, you are still one of my best friends.

Gareth Boyce: Gareth, you are my only best friend who isnt Collective, how strange. You know, I think we could alwyas be friends. I have never once gotten into a fight with you, or have found you annoying. You are quite possibly one of the most awesoem people i know. You can sing, act, write, and your oddball charm is something i could never get tired of. You will always keep me smiling, and I hope you keep smiling too!

Melody Barta: Although we have only been good friends for a short time, I hope we will stay that way for a long time! Your dancing is spectacular, no matter what you say, and so is your singing! I love how happy and cheerful you always are and how you manage to make everyone around you the same. Just so you know, I cant promise to never find you annoying ;) But I know that will never make me stop liking you.

Barbara Griffith: BARBARARARA! I will never forget the awesome times on the bus, with symmetry in transit, and the 8 and a half million clubs we have made over the past year. You are such a great person Barbara, and I wont ever let you forget it. Such a magnificent voice, and of course, the most excellent backstage crew..person.. ever! Also, you ahve mad secretary skills!

Spencer Cowen: So yeah, we only BECAME friends in July, but already, I think you are one of my closest. I love how bubbly you are, and how much we can talk about at our horrible girly sleepovers :P. Plus, you are such an awesome singer! I hope after I graduate we can still be friends!!

So, thats about it. I have other really good friends that I should mention as well, so here is a shoutout to them:

Caitlin Weir
Nicola Cervantes
Kourtney Paugh
Aden Cowen
Devin Wilhelmson
Kevin Dobson
Rosie McNeil
Sasja Towe
Kelsey Coleman
Ty Schiere
Nick Thyssen
Cara Daynes
Sarah Wilson

So, hope I didnt scare you with my newfound feeling..ness..

An Evening of Laughter

Yes, last night was truly magnificent. I dont know, maybe thats pushing it, but I had lots of fun, anyway. Me, Laura, and our moms went to see The Pirates of Penzance at the Chemainus dinner theatre, and it was great. Laura always said she hated that play, but when we saw it there, she said it was sooo awesome. And it was! Allthe songs were really operatic, which i usually hate, but they just did such a stellar job of everything. We really want to put on that musical now, but we could never hope to pull it off. The lead girl, Mabel, went higher then any singer ive ever heard in my life. During intermission, somehow me and Laura got to LAUGHING LIKE MANIACS and we just couldnt stop, so when the play started ( and it was the only serious part) we had to stifle our laughter as much as possible, which didnt work too well, as you can imagine. Wait, did that sentence make sense? oh well. Then, after the show, we went back to Lauras for tea, and me and Gator drank our weight in pomegranate juice.

eww, i also went school supply shopping yesterday. I dont even want to THINK about that. icky.

So, today, im going BACK to Lauras, to practice singing in my disgusting, sickly state. lucky me.

An Old List, For fun.

Back when I still hung out with my friend Cara, we had a planet of the apes a thon, and made a list of things we learned from the movie. I loved it, and will post it posthaste!

Brianna And Cara's List of Things We Learned From Planet of the Apes:

  1. if a plague wipes out all cats and dogs, do NOT take Monkeys as housepets.
  2. Anything Charleton Heston ever says must be screamed at the top of his lungs
  3. Abandoned shipyards are completely devoid of hobo's.
  4. Gunshots do not leave wounds, only splotches of red.
  5. Men can be ugly, but all women are beautiful.
  6. All captains or generals from the 70's look exactly the same, just to confuse us.
  7. Two sophisticated apes will not have an intelligent baby, but a chimpanzee.
  8. a short fall onto a tile floor will most definitely kill you.
  9. Charleton Heston will ultimately destroy the world.
  10. Anything Heston screams will instantly become a quote. For example, ITS A MAAAADHOUSE! or, SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!!!

Ever since I was a little kid, I can remember wanting everything in life to be just like the movies. Thats weird to most people I guess, but have you ever had one of those perfect movie moments? Or met a perfect movie type person? Or heard a song that would be perfect for your own personal soundtrack?? Yeah, maybe you get what I mean now. So, I am going to make a list.

Reasons why life should be like in the movies:

  1. Happy Endings. Seriously, even when someone DIES everyone is still all happy because they learned some sort of lesson from it.
  2. Everybody is good looking. Gorgeous people are everywhere. Even the supposed "ugly"people just have bad hair or something.
  3. Good things always happen to good people. As long as you feed stray animals, open the door for seniors, and dont try to destroy the world, you will prosper.
  4. Guns never run out of ammo. You never need to buy bullets again! Because, as long as you keep firing, you will still have shots.
  5. College is not hard. All university is is one big giant toga party, with drinking and promiscuous sex. There is no need to study, you will still get straight A's.
  6. There is a good chance that you are actually royalty, and will come into your inheritance soon.
  7. You can instantly fall head over heels, madly in love with someone, and they are probably also in love with you.
  8. You could have your own personal soundtrack. Every major event would have its own song.
  9. Evil people get their comeuppance. Got an enemy? yeah, dont worry, they'd be dead soon.
  10. Superheroes! If you get into some sticky business, Spiderman will surely come and save you.
  11. Everybody knows all the same dances, and if you randomly belt out a song in the middle of homeroom, all of your classmates will back you up.

Story Time, Children!

I decided to be a follower and post up a story I started. Its kind of weird, and kind of crappy, and kind of confusing because its not in chronological order. If you hate it, tell me you hate it. I dont like being falsely egotistical.

The Telling

"A foolproof way!" the billboard screamed at passerby’s. A ridiculously attractive painting of a man with too- white teeth and too blonde hair smiled down at the road, his body covering half, while the other side promised answers to all your problems, satisfaction guaranteed. No money down, and a complete refund if you are not absolutely pleased. "Buy this product, and be just like me" it practically oozed.
*****************************
A tiny breeze, indistinguishable at first, brushed across the wide expanse of water-deprived grass, barely making a sound. It blew through the deserted farmhouses, empty swings swaying lazily, shutters sweeping open, only to be slammed shut again. The normally raging river had gone quiet, bubbling like a stream, with hardly any noise at all. It was unnaturally hot out this early in spring, even for the heart of Saskatchewan. Crops had all withered and died, and the pitiful amount of wheat and barley left from the ravagement of weather was stolen away by locusts, or stray cats and dogs whose owners tossed them aside when money was low. The oil wells, it seemed, had all run dry as well, costing many their jobs. Most men had hardly enough to feed themselves, let alone the large families they tended to have. At this time in the year, the bluebirds should have been out, singing their chorus to cheer the deadpanned world, but even they had been chased out by the drought and dust storms.
A shrill scream broke the eerie silence, coming from the direction of a tiny village that had been affected greatly by the cursed weather. A stubborn few still remained however, keeping the town in order until the deserters remembered their roots and came back, or at least until the rainy season finally appeared. The cry came from an old woman, who had lived in the small town for all her life, just like her mother, and her mother before that. She was lying on her deathbed, an immense, canopied affair, in a stifling hot room, with heavy black curtains covering the windows. Her only visitor was the resident doctor, who stayed only out of loyalty to some of his patients, one being this almost invalid of a woman. She had showed signs of a minor illness mere days ago, but now it had developed into a full-scale disease. This completely baffled the doctor, because while she was never exactly a healthy senior citizen, he had never seen someone fall so deeply in sickness in so short a time.
Her scream came as quite a shock. The doctor had been downstairs, fixing some tea for the long day ahead, when he heard the woman shrieking at the top of her lungs upstairs. He rushed to her room at his top speed, to find a terrifying spectacle waiting for him. She was shaking violently in her bed, so hard the frame was moving across the floor, creating dents in the hardwood. Her eyes had rolled all the way back in her head to show the whites, and she was foaming at the mouth. The doctor knew that logically, it would take superhuman strength for one so frail to move that large an object like that, especially while sick, but in the heat of the moment, all he could do was stand and watch in horror as the woman finally went limp, most likely unconscious. When he crept over to the bed to check on her breathing, however, her eyes sprang open, and she sat up to grip his collar so tight he almost choked. In a frantic whisper, she choked out into his ear, "Watch your left leg, it will seem like nothing, but it could be fatal… and tell my daughter I love her." And with that, the woman fell back, never to speak again.
That night, after making the appropriate calls, he went to his own personal doctor and asked him to check his left leg. He was asked whether or not he had been feeling any pain there, and he truthfully answered that no, he hadn’t. The second doctor just gave him an odd look, and examined him anyway. As it turned out, he was developing a cancerous tumor on his left leg. Since it was detected so early, it could be easily removed. Left to grow, it could have killed him. After scheduling an appointment for surgery, the doctor went home feeling shaken. How, he wondered, could she possibly have known when even he did not?

***************************
On the other side of town, Sheriff Wesley Browning sat in his desk with his head in his hands not moving an inch. A small buzz broke him out of his trance, and a voice came out of the speaker in front of him.
"Sheriff Browning, there’s a Mr. McNally here to see you." The falsely cheerful voice chirped at the other end. Wesley sighed heavily and rubbed his sweaty forehead with his hands. McNally, the local rent-a-cop, was here practically every day now. It was bad enough that he was being forced to babysit a still wet-behind-the-ears wannabe cop, but because he was transferred from the "big city", the stupid kid thought he knew everything about the real world. It was doubtful that he had ever seen a real live crime scene. The sheriff wasn’t too sure why he was being punished so, but he guessed it had something to do with the complaints he sent to headquarters. In this miniscule town, news traveled around fast, so when someone died, it was everyone’s business. At first, it was fairly normal, the young and the old. The weak, in other words. But after a while, it was the healthy, too. Wesley, although knew his way around a murder case, was absolutely flummoxed with what could cause all these deaths. He always sent the bodies for autopsies, but the scientists examining them could only tell it was some undiscovered virus, that caused flu like symptoms, until they just…keeled over. Not knowing what to do, he just called HQ, and instead of actually helping out, they sent him Mcnally. Joy.
"Thanks Katharine, send him in please," he said to the little black box, and with another huge sigh, sat back and waited for Mcnally to make his entrance.
*****************************
Behind a dumpster, on the outskirts of town, Valerie Smitt crawled in the dirt, eyes going in and out of focus. All of a sudden, she stopped, leaned over a bush, and vomited profusely into the plant. Head swimming, she dimly made out a person standing not so far away.
"Help me" she managed to croak out, "help me someone..please!" Miraculously, the person heard her and ran over to see what was the matter.
"Jesus Christ!" exclaimed Peter Mcnally, bending over the fallen woman. She was bleeding from several orifices, and had also started foaming at the mouth. Assuming she was dead, he started to pick her up to cart her back to the station, when her eyes sprang open.
" Warn everybody!" she cried, "we’re all in terrible danger!" and with that, she fell back into Peters arms, dead.
******************************
Browning jumped to his feet just as his office door smashed open. Before him was a sight he never expected to see, an extremely disheveled Mcnally holding up a corpse in both arms.
"What the hell is going on here?" He shouted at the cop, but Mcnally said nothing, just edged towards the desk and placed the body on top of it.
"I will not ask you again, Peter." He said through clenched teeth. "What is going on here?
"I found her by the junkyard down on fifth," Peter whispered, fatigue dripping from his voice. " I-I didn’t know what to do, so I brought her here…"
Wesley sighed again, anger forgotten. He felt bad for the kid, obvious youth shining from his eyes. He looked traumatized for like. The sheriff had been in the business too long to let one dead person faze him.
"Come on Pete," he said kindly, "let’s get you some coffee, and I’ll deal with this." Wesley fairly pushed him out the door, closed it behind him, and then slid to the floor. Another one, dead. Getting up, he examined the body more closely. Young, perhaps early twenties, what would have been a beautiful face, if it wasn’t so bruised and scarred. Whatever happened to her, it had been happening for quite some time. Her entire head was one mass of purplish yellow bruises, and one eye was closed from swelling. Her shirt was torn and bloody, and he could just make out something written underneath. Lifting up her shirt, he gasped in revulsion. For there, etched into her belly with fresh blood oozing everywhere was the phrase; "the Telling has begun".
He stood there, completely at a loss for words. Half of his brain trying desperately to think of some logical explanation, some rhyme or reason to the dead woman on his desk, and the steps it took to get it there, while the other half reverted to his childhood fears of the axe murderer hidden under his bed. Hoisting her up on his shoulders, Wesley walked outside the office building, placed the body in his backseat of his car, got in, and started to drive.
His white Mazda sped across the dusty dirt road, kicking up stones in its wake, as it fairly flew to the forensic lab where Wesley’s friend Steven worked. That was where all the previous bodies had gone. Wesley could remember back when the first mysterious death had occurred. It was an old woman, who had fallen ill and died, all in less than a week. There were others too. Perfectly healthy people who had just kind of..dropped. The scientists were all baffled as to the cause of this disease, all they could tell that it was some kind of virus. It was the rumors that caused shivers on your spine. It was never said out loud, but in dark alleyways, and whispered from neighbor to neighbor that before they died, the victims could, well, tell things. Things that normal people aren’t supposed to know. Like, if someone near them is pregnant, or about to die. If you are going to win the lottery, or have all your stocks crash to the floor. The sheriff, of course, believed all this to be hogwash, but the spreading story was almost too outlandish to be just a lie.
Wesley arrived at the building and stepped out into the bright sunshine, wiping the sweat off his face yet again. He walked through the door, and told Steven what had happened. Steven did not appear to be too surprised, which wasn’t abnormal, seeing as he had seen cases such as this one for the past month or two.
"I’m just going to look around for a bit while you examine this new patient, okay Steve?" Wesley called from the next room as Steven wheeled the corpse into his operating room, "Say, where are those other victims you’ve gotten, maybe I could check ‘em out!"
There was complete silence from his friend for a few moments, until a frowning Steven came out looking quite perplexed.
"What are you talking about?" He asked, " Someone who said he came from your office picked them all up yesterday."
*************************
The air in the steel, boxed prison was freezing cold. Grey closed in on all sides, like an approaching storm cloud, giving off vibes of impending doom. The breath of countless women prickled the air and was instantly crystallized. A few feeble cries still rang the air, girls who had not yet given up hope of getting out alive. Most just sat in the corner, crying quietly, accepting their inevitable fate. The room in which they were kept was clearly labelled "Failures", and the scientists discussing outside made little effort in concealing that fact from their prisoners.
"I don’t understand it," said the first, " so many failures after so many successes! What could possibly be going wrong?"
"I believe it is some sort of allergic reaction." Said the second scientist, matter-of-factly, " If you will examine this patient more closely, you will find what looks distinctly like hives where the original puncture was made."
"Most intruiging." Replied the first. "And I have made a rather interesting discovery on the disposables. They have developed a new gift. It seems that when they are touching someone, they can send messages, pictures really, from their brain to the brain of the organism that are in contact with."
"Remarkable!" Exclaimed the other, "Most remarkable! I do believe with more testing we could have a new product on the line!"
Just at that moment, a bright eyed young boy in an oversized laboratory coat rushed into the room, and breathlessly announced that there was a new patient waiting for them in the entranceway.
In the front hall, a partially unconscious Valerie Smitt was dragged into a chair, while a long, thin, needle was injected into her arm.

Dreary Day, Dreary Life.

I realized something this morning. Almost everybody's mood of late seems to be corresponding with the unfortunate weather weve been having lately. Alleah goes into more detail on her blog, so see that if you want. Im not going to describe everybody's horrible moods. So yeah, I'm sick right now. It sucks, a lot. I really did not want to be sick on my last bit of summer. At least I think theres going to be a party next Tuesday. I dont know if I want to invite everyone though. Maybe just the friends from Welly, and then our good friends from other schools. Like, Mel, Barbara, Spence, Aden, etc. etc. I dont know if I will be in the mood for a giant social gathering. Wow, ive said mood three times in this post already. This cold is affecting my vocabulary skills, i swear. So yesterday was mildly fun. We went to Geoffs place, with some people, and hung out. Aaaaand thats about it. Seriously. And today I might be going over to Lauras house to watch Ella Enchanted and gossip about...well, you know. Hey, maybe I'll be a trend whore and post up the story i started, copying Barbara completely. Hope she doesnt mind.

Finishing off the Trip

Okay, all I have left is Sunday and Monday, and Im pretty sure I can get through them both in one sitting. Sunday was a fuuun day. We went to this garage sale of "Tony's" ( a friend of the mom) and I bought a whole whack of cool records. Spencer flipped at me because i bought some records that she wanted, and she started to make a scene, so I just gave them to her. Seriously, i would do nearly anything to prevent someone from causing a scene. I'm weird that way. Anyway, after that Spence, Aden, and I walked down to Cafe Aroma, and bought ourselves some smoothies. Yummy yummy smoothies. I made the mistake of letting Aden drink some of mine though, which is probably how he infected me with this icky sickness. Then we walked down a little furthur and went to "Mr Spud" this little van/food vendor thing, and I had a hotdog. It was funny, because the girl who worked there asked us if we could watch the place for a few minutes while she went to the bathroom. Oh the trusting nature of island people. um.. I dont actually remember what happened Sunday night.. probably just the usual hanging out and being hyper.

MOnday we got up bright and early to get on the ferry and go back to Campbell river. The whole trip back was rather boring, because we were all kind of tired and cranky. Got home, ready to just veg out and watch tv or something, but to my distress, found my grandma and her friend Gary ( the two most ANNOYING people on the planet) were staying at my house. So, of course, I was expected to be sociable. Ick! And Gary is the kind of person who talks to you endlessly when you obviously are NOT wanting to. Like, i started playing the piano, and he was like, so Brianna, are you still singing? And I sooo wanted to say, well, actually mim PLAYING THE PIANO AT THE MOMENT!!! i mean, hes nice and all, but really. That night I watched Connie and Carla with them, which was an enjoyable movie. oh..

Things that happened while I was gone:

  • Mel and Gareth broke up
  • Everyone in the world met Llowyn except me, and he is quote "awesome".
  • Alleah did some very stupid, very unmentionable things
  • a new holiday was invented! something between Barbara and llowyn, that takes place on the 29th. I cant tell you what its called, however, because its name is a variety of hand signals.
  • Geoff got spurned by Nicoles "no dating" policy
  • Ty went insane.
  • my sister moved out
  • my mom had an inconsolabe fight with my Aunt
  • My cat did NOT come back... *cry*

On to Saturday

ATTENTION:

Before you keep reading, make sure you have read the previous 2 posts, as they describe the beginning of the Quadra trip!

Okay, now with that out of the way, I can move on to what happened Saturday. Their mom woke me and Spence up at like, 7 i nthe morning, ( an ungodly hour) because we were going whale watching that day. we left at 8:15 and drove down to the harbour for the 9:00 excursion. We were all fairly groggy, but still managed to scrape up some excitement for the trip. The driver was a friendly guy named Nick, who seemed to know a lot about whales. It was a really small boat, like 25 feet maybe, with 12 cramped seats in a little room at the front, and then a back deck thing, which was also miniscule. We saw three transient* orcas almost right away, Unfortunately they were the same three whales we saw the whole entire day. We were out on that boat for SEVEN HOURS by the way. It was really fun, but it could have been a few hours shorter. I got some good pictures of the whales too. It was soooo cold out though, I was freezing to death! So I had to employ Aden to keep me warm. That was fun. The best part of the whole boat trip was right at the very end where we hit a huge swell with these giant choppy waves and bounced up and down for about ten minutes. That was the coooolest thing ever! We got back around quarter to four, and rented Signs, because we couldnt go outside ( raining). Then, after supper, Their mom went out to hang with friends, and the three of us hung out in the family room some more. Around 10:30, we were all just sitting around talking about our worst nightmares, getting kind of frightened, when all of sudden all the lights around us turned off! Me and Spence screamed and dove onto Aden. We kinda just sat there for a while, wondering what to do, until we got the brilliant idea of trrying to get to the couch. I fell down, because i am a gork. After about ten minutes of sitting on the couch being scared, we managed to find our way up the stairs to where the grandma was. She had lit a bunch of candles, so we spent the next half hour making our shadow animals eat Spencers shadow. That was highly amusing. Soon after, we went to bed.

Sunday's itinerary will come even later. I MUST do this in installments

Where I Left Off

OKay, so that was Thursday. Friday was a muuch better day. I woke up at 9, and felt icky, so I jumped into the shower right away. I HATE the shower there though, because there is no warm water, only alternating freezing and scalding water! So that was mildly unpleasant. After breakfast ( I am SOOO unused to eating breakfast) me and Spencer walked down the 30 minutes or so down to the playground at Quadra Elementary, and i took some cool pictures. On the way home we had to stop 8 zillion times because Spencer was tired and "couldnt go any further". We got home and found out Aden got stung by a wasp on the foot, poor him ( and people laugh when I run away! But I never get stung, so there!). We were really bored and lazy in the afternoon ( like every day) so we played the name game with Music, and then Movies, and I, naturally, won every time. That evening we went back to the spit and went on the walk all around it, which was very pretty. I took more pictures. Oh, and i got some shells. Aden bought us milkshakes on the way back, and I think it was because he wanted to make up for being so weird and reclusive the day before. That night we watched For the Boys with Bette Midler ( who I love now) and then Swing Kids. Me and ADen tried to recreate some of the moves in it, but we failed miserably. Then we all gave each other massages.. yay.

I'll write about Saturday later.

Home Again, Home Again.

Well, i got back three hours ago, from my 4 and a half trip to Quadra Island. I must say I had a great time. Spence and Aden werent nearly as thrilled, because they had been there so many times. And they kept saying like, I miss everyone, and stuff, which made me feel kind of inadequate, like they would have rather brought someone else. I dont know, they just missed everyone, I shouldnt have felt bad, but I did. Anyways, that was only really for the first day, so its okay. So, Thursday morning Spencer, Aden, and their mom drove down to my house to get me, so I said goodbye to my mother and we sped away to Campbell river. I thought the car ride would be really boring, but we put on Rocky Horror in the CD player, and sang along reeeallly loud, even their mom! it was great! And then me and Spencer listened to my summer car mix on her discman. It took us about an hour and a half to get to Campbell River, and we were pretty early, so we stopped at Dairy Queen for some ice cream. We got on the ferry a little later, and me S&A went onto the deck, which was freezing, but we didnt care. The ferry ride, was only about 10 minutes long, so we got to Quadra quickly and drove up to the house. It was really funny, because the whole family kept seeing people they knew from when they lived there.

Oh yeah, the house. I loved the house. It was big, and spacious, and the downstairs( where me, s, and A spent most of our time) was like a completely different house then the upstairs. There was a big wooden swing outside that the three of us sat on sometimes, and a mini playhouse thing. And oodles of blackberries! Thursday was not my favorite day. Me and SPence went to the Spit with their Grandma and walked around a bit, whic hwas okay. Dinner was enjoyable, because we laughed and told stories of bad singers in our families. but then for some reason, Aden started acting really weird and sulky. He was actually kind of mean. like, hes usually mean to Spencer, but he was jerky to me too, which was really odd. I think that was the day we watched Starsky andf Hutch, but I cant remember. Oh also, Spence got the bright idea to make a board game, so we went down to Hummingbirds' stationary store and got some posterboard and stuff to make one.

I'll talk about the next couple of days later.

Sayonara

Yeah, last post for about 5 days, because i'm going to Quadra bright and early on the morrow. Thanks to my Dads mad military packing skills which he passed down to me, i managed to fit, 5 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, 1 sweater, 2 pyjama pants, 2 pyjama shirts, one bathing suit, another pair of shorts ( for swimming) , 4 pairs of underwear, 2 bras, 4 pairs of socks, a belt, 3 books, my camera, my discman with its huge headphones, my cd case, wallet , extra film and batteries, my makeup bag, deoderant, toothpaste, toothbrush, hairbrush.. and I think thats it, into a medium sized duffle bag.I am soo talented. . There might be more, but I packed in a frenzy, and dont remember. Oh crap! I forgot to pack sandals.. Im wearing my sneakers, you see. Oh well, i'll remember in the morning. Hopefully. Can you think of anything else I would need? Spence says I need "aqua socks" whatever the hell those are. I dont have any, sorry. So, dont expect to talk to me or anything until Monday afternoon, cause thats when I get back. so DONT HAVE ANY FUN WHILE IM GONE!! Not that you could without me, of course... mwahaha. So, catch you all later!!

Delivered as Promised

An Increased State of Sadness

its been over 24 hours and my cat Charlie still hasnt come back. This is extremely odd, because he always comes back after like, 4 hours. Im getting really worried... But theres nothing I can do, really, except sit and wait. to get my mind off things, I made some peanut butter cookies, but I wasnt really paying attention, so I burned some of them. I made them for tomorrows lake picnic thing. I dont know how many people will end up going. Probably not as many as we think, oh well. So, I went to the beach yesterday, with 7 other people, and we had a grand old time.
HIGH POINT: Jumping off one side of the dock with 7 other people in order to splash all these twinky girls on mattresses.
LOW POINT: Well, there wasnt really a low point to the lake, but there was a weird guy in a red shirt staring at us on the sand, which was fairly creepy.

In other news, Spencer and Ty's 3 day relationship ended yesterday. I was actually suprised, because usually im right about these kind of things ( at least with other people) and I thought theyd be together for a while. Well, what're you gonna do, right? ooh, I also got a tan yesterday, that was cool too. I looove tans. As long as I dont get skin cancer by the time im 25, which my mom threatens all the time. Speaking of which, she comes back today. At 4, i think. Maybe she'll help me FIND MY FRIGGING CAT!!!!

Anyways, tonight is Kevins going away party. Its weird though, because Brad didnt send me an invite... I know for a fact Kevin wants me to come though, so i guess i'll crash the p-tay. What fun. I guess thats it, really.

*sadness*

My cat Charlie ran away and I dont know where he is!! He's gotten out before, but not for so long, an i dont know what to do!!!

Collective Excursion

Yes, thats right, yesterday I finally spent time with the female section of the collective. Oh, and KEvin :P. Yeah, it was good old fashioned fun. Hung out for a little while at Lauras, and we just chatted about things weve done, and people we know. Then, seeing as it was 8 MILLIO DEGREES Kevin drove us to Macs to get slurpees, and we " rocked out" to Joseph songs. I got to be Shotgun Queen, mahaha ( I later lost my title for forgetting to lock my door). Then, like the teenage consumer whores that we are, we went to the mall. Im not really sure why, we didnt actually do much there, just walk around, and buy oodles of sex bracelets to give to my friends. Oh, and we went to Claires and put on these ludicrous hats that said things like "Mrs.Timberlake" and "I love Ashton" and Kevin took a picture of it on his digital camera. If he puts it on his computer, i'll put it on here. Then we went to Walmart to develop said picture, among others. It was great, because Alleah found this huge picture of a weird mohawk guy wearing leopard print. How excellent is that? So shes going to put it in her locker next year and pretend its her Russian boyfriend Dexter... uh, some Russian last name. Then we went to Rogers and got some weird comedy called 100 girls, about this guy who wanted to find this girl he had a one night stand with, so he had to befriend all the girls in this one dorm. It was a better movie than you would expect from the title and description. After that, KEvin and Laura had to go to some weirdo concert somewhere downtown, so they dropped me off at the bottom of my hill, and zoomed away. I didnt do much last night, sat around on the computer, and read a book. What excitement. but... today is MONDAY which means its BEACH DAY! huzzah! Im going with, Gareth ( of course) Aden, Rose, Ty, and Alleah. so, that will be interesting. So, I guess thats all for now.

What if its too late?

I found out some interesting...news... last night. Geoff, Monkey, and Laura had all gotten back from Naramata and I was tlaking to them on msn. Laura was talking to me about Kevin and him going away, and how she was losing him and stuff, and I remarked how it seems lately that Aden is distancing himself from me ( although this is a completely different situation because we arent going out) . Laura, puzzled, asked why, seeing as Aden likes me. And I was like.... WHAT?!:?!?!?!? She told me that Geoff had told her that Aden had told him that he liked me. I nearly died, at this point. So, of course, I questioned Geoff, and he sent me the convo. Apparently, he likes me, but doesnt know about a relationship. WHY??? Why doesnt he want a relationship with me if he likes me?? So, the reason I think it might be late is that this conversation took place on the 6th, which was 9 days ago. And i just hope he hasnt stopped liking me, because then i would be so sad! Fortunately, I have 5 days on an island to get him back :). But i have to wait til Thursday! Why isnt it Thursday noooow??

Gathering at Gareths

Last night was uber fun! Gareth finally had people over to his house, for a little get together of what was supposed to be 8, but turned into ten. If i can remember it was me, Gareth, Rose, Barbara, Mel, Spencer, Aden, Glen, Dan, Ty, and Jason Hensdbee. Isnt that weird? I mean, I have gone to the same school as Jason for three years, and I think hes even been in some of my classes, but I have never spoken to him, ever. Except when hes working at Wendy's, and i ask him for a burger, but that doesnt count. SO, he was probably mighty confused when he saw me in my natural habitat, being "normal" me. Well, actually, i was a bit different last night. MOre oddly sexual. maybe because Dan and Glen were there, I dont know, but it was fun anyways. We went down to the park near Departure Bay beach and played on the swings, and had normal loud, rowdy, teenager fun. On the way back, i walked with Aden ,Glen, and Barbara, which was interesting. We stalked each other, how hot ;) . So yeah, we pretty much just hung out all night, but that was fine with me!
So, today I had some people over. It was a very hot, lazy, do nothing kind of a thing. We just chatted in my livingroom while eating cupcakes. Oh, by the way it was me, Ty, Spencer, Gareth, and Mel. Yeah, I was the fifth wheel, but it was way understated, so I didnt care or anything.

Oh! excellent news! Spencers family is going to Quadra island for 4 days this Thursday, and her mom said her and Aden could each bring a friend and I get to go! YAY! and ADen is "bringing" Ty for Spence, so it will be great fun. Well, as long as Aden doesnt act all weird and distant. I dont think he will though. So, thats all for now, really. I was supposed to go with my mom to the mainland tomorrow, but shes letting me stay home alone! * happiness*. But dont get any party ideas, because im not allowed to have people over.

The happenings of Yesterday

I realized this morning that in my post yesterday, i failed to mention the goings on of said day at all. It was interesting, really. I went to Barbs house right, for our meeting, but we really didnt get a lot of work done. Big surprise. We didnt really have a lot to cover though, only like, if we were going to do a play instead of a musical and stuff. So, for most of the afternoon/ evening, we dressed up in Barbaras costumes and paraded about outside while trying to come up with a mini play to do in the street. That didnt pan out, but no matter. We still had a fun time, as per usual. I do believe i have a picture of all of us in our dress-up apparel somewhere...

Strange as it seems, theres been a run of crazy dreams...

Yes, i stole the title from a song in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. But its true! Ive had so many completely random and werid dreams lately. And the real strange part is how vivid it all is. Every morning I wake up convinced what i dreamt about really happened. So weird.
Monday night: I had this dream where me and a bunch of friends ( i remember Gareth, Aden, and Laura being there) went on this group trip to some weird island that was kind of like Cuba, or Costa Rica or something. Also Liam Neeson was there and I dont know why. Anyways, I was meandering around on this island, when all of a sudden this big guy comes up and kidnaps me! He took me to an underground room in the middle of this prehistoric looking city with a whole bunch of other scared looking tourists. Well, a little after they took of my blindfold, this lady came downstairs in a pink dress and combat boots, with this huge gun. Somehow in this dream we all knew that she was some kind of mob princess ( have you ever had one of those dreams where you inexplicably know a lot about something that doesnt actually exist?) who needed new slaves, or something. All of a sudden this crazy woman shoots one one of the kidnappees! We were all completely shocked, but didnt know what to do, and she just kept shooting random people! When she came to me, I was like inwardly having a heart attack, but she bent real close and said "I like your shiny shoes" And then walked past me. How insane is that?? So when she was done shooting everyone, she came back to me and said, I also like your hair, so she cut it off! all of it! I was sooo sad.. So, because she liked my shoes and hair, I got to live and be her slave. Joy. Unexpectedly, this particular mob princess had a very attractive mob prince son. SO, this guy took me to hang out with his very rich very cool island friends. Unfortunately, the son still thought of me as his mothers slave, so it could never be. Someway or another, I managed to escape, but thats all I remember.

Tuesday night: Now this, was an awesome awesome dream. I was in the parking lot near Rogers video, when I came across this giant red van ( rather similiar to Kevins) With a for sale sign that said 15$. I was like, sweet! Even if it didnt work, hey, I still had this van to hang out in! So, my mom was in Rogers, and I bought this van. So, I was sitting in it, thinking hey cool, I have my own car, when I decided to drive it. And it worked! It was soo cool. So, the next day i was tlaking to Nolan for some reason ( still in my dream) and i mentioned my awesome new car. He was like, oh yeah, that used to be mine, we sold it because there was a leak in the gas tank. So, I took it down to the car shop and they fixed it for 100 bucks. So, i had my own car for 115 dollars. It was great.

Also Tuesday Night: I dont remember much about this one, except Gareth was the lead in this play, and i was supporting, and in intermission the female leadgot sick ,so me and Gareth had to invent the entire second act on the spot. I think we ended up riding a motorcycle around a lot, and I seem to remember something about a fishtank...

Wednesday Night: WORST DREAM IVE EVER HAD!!! My mom up and decided her three years in Nanaimo had been a waste, so she turned back time ( i dont know) and moved from ST.Albert to Victoria!! This meant that all of my friends from here had no idea who I was or anything! It was the most awful thing ever. I called up Laura in this blind panic but she just thought I was some stalker lunatic, because I knew all this stuff about her.. i was upset beyond comprehension. All of my best pals had forgotten about me.. or rather, they never knew. And the choir had never had me, neither had any arts alive things, There were never any parties with me.. I tellyou, it gave me a newfound appreciation for all of my friends, thats for sure. Seriously, one day, try and think of how your life would be different if your current best friend had never existed. Its weird.

well, I guess we'll see what I dream up tonight!

Dancing the night away...

So, everything is awesome. Went to Dancing in the Park tonight! At first we ( me, Aden, Spence, and Ty) were kind of shy and nervous at the beginning, because we were the only kids there, and some of the only inexperienced ones. However, we got right into it, and soon enough we were doing it with the best of 'em! Like really, Aden was a great dancer! Except he kept looking at his feet, oh well :P. But yeah, it was sucj amazing fun! We learned lots.. But i dont remember any of the names except the Octopus and the Stomp kick. I think you can guess which was my favorite! So after, we were all tuckered out ,and sweaty and gross, so my mom drove us to 7 Eleven to get slurpees, and then we drove everyone home. Of course, Ty and Spence now like each other ( who would have thought :) ) and I did my best to matchmake them together... and it worked!!! whee hee hee! Seriously, Hes gonna ask her tomorrow, which made her all giggly and stuff because she not used to it. isnt that cuuute?? Now, all thats left on the agenda is to get me one! A specific one! grrr.... Oh well, He will stop being stupid one of these days. I hope.

So, tomorrow, off to Barbs for another meeting. What fun!! Guess I better go off to bed then.. so I dont wake up at 12 tomorrow. Goodnight, all!

The Devil Wears a Black Hat

Its Tuesday night! You know what that means?? The only show I ever watch was on! Fact or Fiction, best (and worst) show known to man. Good episode too. I wont go into it, because I will actually bore you to death. So, where is ALleah now, you may ask yourself. I thought she was staying with Brianna, may be another question. Well. Well well well. I dont know where Alleah is. She could be passed out on the streetcorner for all I know. Oh yes, thats right. She was supposed to come over at 7, and the hours just flew by with nary a word from our topic of choice. Finally, at 9:30 i got worried and called Kevins house. No answer. Thaaaats just peachy. So later, i was on the computer and Kevin signed in. He told me that apparently, Alleah got "too drunk" with Foo and company, and failed to contact me in any way!! Grr, im angry. I mean really ,I was actually worried they got in a car accident or something! But no, Alleah is just way irresponsible. And after I had called her too, and she said she wouldnt drink anything. Seriously, that makes me way mad. She doesnt know that though, I guess she'll figure it out. So, in other news, Spencer went to a boring party. aaha. Yeah, its come to that. I have to talk about other people in my blog because im so boring. Adens weird friend James was supposedly hitting on her. But what she said made me think he actually was. Scary! Like, he put his arm arounf her in the car. If he did that to me, I would have jumped out the window and braved the pavement. And speaking of scary things, I was looking through my grade 11 yearbook, and it just hit me, i am GRADUATING next year! how utterly terrifying is that?? Like really, I have to get grad pictures, and college applications, and all that stuff that you think is never going to happen when youre in highschool, and then poof! grade 11 is over, and youre in the doghouse! And prom... Jesus, who the hell am I going to take to prom?? Im too young to do this! waaah! At least I still have the rest of August. Good ol' August.

What the Deuce?

Stupid girls who are alwyas stupid late to stupid everything! Yeah, Alleah was supposed to be here an hour ago. Not that I had anything fun and exciting planned that had a time limit, but still, you'd think it would kill her to be on time. Oh well, she's at Kevins and probably just lost track of time. Im not too miffed, because in the meantime, I worked on this awesome new painting I started yesterday. Not that im uber talented or anything, its just really fun for me. Im not going to explain the premise of the picture, because everyone will laugh at my dorkiness. I dont know who I'm going to end up giving it to though. For some reason, I just cant seem to keep the things I make, and I dont know why. Lucky for me, people seem to actually like what I make, so theyre keen to take it. I wont be finished for a while though.. It is so very exciting though. I * heart* new projects. Uh... pretend i didnt say that. So anyways, what did I do today. A whole lot of nothing. Sat around on the computer talking to everyone I know, read Alleahs ridiculously long blog entry, and drew endlessly. So unproud of myself. Oh well, I'm doing stuff tomorrow. Going over to Ty's house to watch music vid's on his computer of some weirdo band called Placebo, which he is apparently in love with. Then, later off to dancing in the park with Aden. Oh, and Spencer and Ty, who are also partners. A match made in what universe? Who knows. Actually, it was mostly me. I was like, Ty, Spencer thinks your hot, wanna be her dance partner? And he was like, for sure! Only he said it in a less homosexual fashion. So, I guess it was in the Brianna universe. I hope they speak crazy. um... also ignore that. Goddammit Alleah! Where in tarnation ARE YOU??????
sooo... talking to Carmen about drum playing lobsters... and doing a heck of a lot of nothing, except downloading Enya. Yeah, very weird, but its the best music ever for creative thinking, I swear. And my Enya CD is skipping up a storm, so I have to make a new one. Oh, I guess I'll go and be bored somewhere else other than my blazing hot attic!

Hole In the Floor Productions

So, things have taken a pleasant turn for the better. Saturday still sucked, because i was still away from it all, but I got home Saturday night and had a wonderful sleep in my own lovely bed. Sunday I went to Spencers to have that first meeting about her idea to put on Rocky Horror. The meeting was spectacular, in my opinion. Everyone seems so committed, i'm sure we can pull it off. We might not do RHPS, because were underage, but we WILL have a show, no matter what. Unfortunately, I can tell im going to have a lot of responsibility with the whole project. First meeting everyone was already looking to me, even though its Spencers thing. Oh well. I do get to be the director though, which is tres awesome.
Today I went to the beach. I hereby declare Mondays, Beach Days! It was fun, I went with Gareth and Rose, and then Aden showed up too! we had a great time, lazing about on the dock, and telling the kids that swam under it that they would get prostate cancer. Strange beasts, are we. Other than that, we didnt do much. Talked more about HITF. Theres going to be a special meeting on Thursday at Barbs to talk about a garage sale we may have to fundraise. Sooo... Nothing special. Tomorrow will be super boring. I think im cleaning out the storage room. Joy.

Wizard!

Defenestrate: To throw someone out of a window

New Word

Quork: a Quirky dork. not to be confused with Gork.

Gork: a gimpy dork.

My Day PART 2: The Outings

I skipped some stuff, but its boring, so no matter. Anyways, my mom came home from breakfast, and we took a cab to the Bay Centre Mall to go pseudo shopping. Basically, wandering around the stores my mom likes while listening to her complain about not having any money. Then, we went to the movies, but we ended up seeing Little Black Book, because, as we know, the movie I wanted to see wasnt playing yet. After the movie we went back to the mall, and to Chapters and stuff. Blah, blah, some other stuff happened, which was also boring. If you want to know about it, ask me.

My Day PART 1: I have an Anger Problem

okay, problem numero uno: Little things make me angry. It doesnt happen very often, but it happens. And i mean, i am talking minor, insignificant, inconveniences or annoyances that make me want to rip out my hair. For example; Today I was going to see the Princess Diaries 2 with my mom. Im not from Victoria, so I wasnt really sure which theatre. Well. We found two theatres but neither of them were playing the movie. This made me mad. Now we come to
problem numero dos: When i get mad, i get livid. Like, i was ready to shoot someone in the head because i couldnt find this movie. And im not even kidding. I would have scared you if you had seen me on the street. My mom thought I was insane, too. I have thr same problem with being sad as well. When i am upset, I am like over the edge depression mode. But, like I said, happens veery little. And only for a tiny bit of time. So, dont go calling the shrinks, im still semi normal.
So, what happened today. Got up at 9, because my moms cell phone rang. I had a terrible sleep, by the way. I had to crash on this 5 foot long couch with no pillows. It sucked. So anyways, no sleep, got up early. The person on the phone was my mums friend Angie, so they went out for breakfast, leaving me with only toast and the solace of my computer. I love you computer. You give me the social interaction I need to survive. So i talked to Spencer about the PRODUCTION OF ROCKY HORROR she wants to do! Can you say awesome?!? And I, of course, would get to be magenta. Cool for me. I think this is a hugely great idea, with the only problem being money. Ah yes, money, the root of all evil. But, im sure we can fundraise enough by the second semester.

Dinner, I will continue later.

Sod Off

I dont why exactly, but I'm having an off day. Yesterday was the party, and I spent all day waiting for it, because what else do I have to do in my boring life then hang out with my friends? Well, I guess the party was fun, but, I dont know, things didnt turn out the way i hoped they would, and it kinda put me in a bad mood. Plus, all my friends were getting on my case to this thing.. that I dont want to do.. because its a fruitless effort. And today my mom drove me out to Victoria with my sister Caitee cause shes flying to Edmonton. I always get all mopey when I drive places, dont ask me why. Then, in the turning line of a big intersection by the airport, our car completely broke down and we were stranded with Caitee freaking out because she thought she was going to miss her flight. Of course, my mom started having a panic attack, and my sister was freaking, so I really just wanted to hightail it out of there and escape the chaos. We called a tow truck, but there were all these angry people yelling at us, and i was like, screw you! you still get to go to your place with just a minor inconvenience, we are STUCK! Sometimes I hate people. People today, anyways. So we got a cab, and went to the airport, and an hour later, Tiffany came and picked up me and my mom. We went out for dinner at White Spot, and I just didnt feel like eating. but I had some fettucini alfredo. Good, but I wasnt hungry. So now, i'm sitting at Tiffany's computer, wishing I was at home. Dont know why. Home sucks too.

Ziang Jaio Rules All!!!

Okay, only those who play Dynasty Warriors 4 will EVER get that, but I dont care. For if you dont play DW4, then you are no one. No one I say! So, uh, anyways. Some interesting things happened since i last wrote stuff. Last night was Rosie's b-day party, so we all trooped down to Kelseys for some awesome fun. I had a strawberry daquiri *orgasm* the most delicious drink known to man. What was great is that i didnt have to consider the price at all. Its fun feeling rich. Not that I AM rich of course, that was my last 5 bucks. But it was still cool. I had gotten my pictures developed earlier that day, so everyone crowded around and looked at them. Some turned out really great. I am a master photographer!! I ended up sitting with Spencer, Aden, and Geoff, which was actually not planned whether you believe it or not. I went to tlak to them for a minute, and Nicole stole my seat. Not that i minded sitting with them of course, they are super. So after "dinner"( I didnt actually eat anything) we walked over to Rose's house and watched Hedwig and the Angry Inch, a very wonderful and weird musical about transvestites. My mom picked me up at 11, but I didnt want to go home. I never want to go home when I'm with my friends. they are the ultimate best people on the planet, no exceptions.
Today i got up early to start my chores so that I could go out later, but my mom was being crazy and she wouldnt let me start til 12. She fed me a million pounds of hashbrowns, which I didnt even want, cause I havent been hungry at all in EVER. So then i finished my chores and ran out to catch the bus, but my mom claimed I wasnt finished, so by the time i got to COuntry Club I had missed my bus and had to wait a half hour til i caught the number 2 to Woodgrove. I got to Geoffs house a little after three, and Spencer and Aden were already there! So the five of us had lots of fun playing video games, and tickling each other, and other random stuff. Then the Cowens had to leave, and Laura showed up, so we ate dinner. my mom was mad when I got home, but I dont care at all cause i got to see my buds again. That was my day up til now. Im really tired, but my mom wants me to go see the Bourne Supremacy with her, and i might to appease her wrath.

Romantic Comedy Mode

Have you ever had one of those phases where all you wanted to do was curl up onto the couch and watch every single romantic movie you own? Yeah, im kinda into that right about now. The favorites that immediately spring to mind: Moulin Rouge, Never Been Kissed, The Princess Bride... numerous others. I watched Moulin Rouge last night, and cried like a freak, as per usual. Ive seen that movie about 18 times, and it still gets me. So, backtracking to Saturday, i will start from the middle, i suppose.
So Nick called me sooner or later, and I went down to the beach at Long Lake with Nick, Jordan, and Ashley. This isnt my usual hang out crowd, so it was pretty cool. We went to the semi-private dock off to the side and me and Ashley tried to push Jordan off the dock, but he's all hardcore Judo and stuff, so we had to sit down really fast to avoid being pushed in ourselves. Then Ashley switched sides and pushed me in. So, of course, it was an all out, every man for himself, knockdown drag-out war. Then, at 4, my mom drove up, so I went home to get ready for Spencers get together that evening. We picked up Gareth, and then drove over to Spencers giant beautiful house. Some other people came too, like Kelsey, Sasja, Lauren, and Aden's friend James. We had a very fun time, watching Family guy episodes, and taking pictures of each other on the exercise equipment. ( where i discovered that Aden can bench press 130 pounds, droool). And we watched Evil dead 2 whhich was a horrible movie, but it was fun to laugh at, so it was good anyways. I wasnt paying much attention to the movie though, because Aden was leaning against the couch i was sitting on, so my arms were around him, and he kept rubbing his face against my arm, which was very distracting for me. After the movie, we all were wrestling on the ground for some unknown reason, but i was MAAAD at Sasja because she was flirting with Aden like a mad fool, and the poor guy probably didnt know what to think. Because of course Sasja HAS A BOYFRIEND and was being a total skank and I hate her for it. Not that i hate Sasja, i just hate Sasja for that. But then, she ( and everyone else) left and I was happy. So, me, Spencer, and Aden went up to Spences room where we chatted and listened to music. Aden asked me to give him a massage and neckrub because he was sore, and i readily obliged, because he's always giving massaged to everyone else. But, i really suck at them, so it probably wasnt that great for him. Oh well, fun for me.
For some reason, at 11:30 their mom came in and told us to go to bed, so naturally we snuck into the den downstairs. We put on the Princess Bride and i had a marvelous time snuggling up to Aden who put his arm around me again! And there were these times where he would be almost holding my hand, put not quite, but would move his fingers as if he wanted to, but couldnt work up the nerve.. and I wasnt going to do it just in case i was very off base about this whole situation. After the movie, we went to bed, well technically we were in bed, but me and Spencer talked for two hours afterwards. We regretted this the next morning when her mom banged on her door at 9 in the morning for breakfast. I got up, looked like hell, and tramped to the kitchen while making non committal noises to peoples questions. I had a nice time at breakfast though, because her family told me stories about Greece, and other things. Her stepdad Len is really nice. After breakfast Aden and Spencer had to go out to scrape their deck, but i wasnt leaving til twelve, so i just hung out with them as they did it. We put on the Rocky Horror soundtrack and had excellent fun singing along. It was chilly out though, so Aden got me a sweater of his, which was comfy and warm. Around 12, my mom came to pick me up,so i hugged them goodbye. I should definitely go over there more often. So, im seeing them, and everyone else important tonight at Kelseys for Rosie's birthday party. YAY! man, am I ever obsessed. I should really stop tlaking about Aden, because Spencer reads this, and she might shoot me in the head for being so annoying!
Yesterday was Sunday, and I did a whole lot of nothing. I went to Pipers with my mom and Sputnik, and hung out for some hours, then came home and did nothing. I actually had a nap. I didnt mean to, but i was listening to the tape from the tarot card reader, and it made me fall asleep. Then at night i watched Moulin Rouge. End of the day. And today is MOnday, im so unpopular, i have zip plans until 6. damn. Oh well, i have to make a card for Rosie. and do chores. ( glorg! just for Spence). I suppose i should stop writing then. I will see most of you tonight!

Oh! extra note! Laura is having a party on Wednesday! SPREAD THE WORD!!!
